HOLD ON, HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU

I want to begin by proclaiming the greatness of our God, the only true God, using the words of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, “He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, And stretched out the heaven by His understanding. When He utters His voice—There is a multitude of waters in the heavens: “He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries” (Jeremiah 51:15-16).

Our God is the awesome God of all creation. He is the God of all grace, the Supplier of all divine enablement to help us His children become all He wants us to be, receive all that He has for us, and also do all that He set us up on this earth to accomplish. Thus, I want to encourage you to hold on to God, assured that His grace is sufficient for you. Before we proceed any further, let me share some testimonies with you:

Now, let us continue with our subject-matter for this study. Let me ask you, do you feel trapped in sorrow? Do you feel weighed down by pressures of life? Do you feel discouraged? Do you feel as if nothing has changed in spite of all your prayers and sacrificial giving? Do you feel a sense of hopelessness and a very strong urge to throw in the towel and quit on God? DON’T DO THAT! JUST HOLD ON, HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU. It’s not over until you win, and you are destined to win in Jesus name. Thus says the Lord to you, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me … It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil”(2 Corinthians 12:9; Isaiah 10:27).

Yes, His grace i.e. His supernatural enabling to help you overcome sin and all other afflictions or adversities of life, is available to you. God’s strength, power, anointing and wisdom to live life skilfully and victoriously are available to you. You can access them daily and freely by approaching the throne of grace: “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). So, intentionally maximize the divine injunction to daily approach the throne of grace, and do it with conviction. There lies the power to overcome life’s school of hard-knocks: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” (Zechariah 4:6-7). Remember, God shows no partiality (Acts 10:34). He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8); “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (2 Corinth. 9:8).

God’s grace tackles your needs, including every emotional, health, financial, marital, physical needs: “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich” (2 Corinth. 9:8; 8:9). He has promised to not withhold any good thing from us His children: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11). Thus, I pray for you that the grace of God will profusely abound to you. May His indwelling Holy Spirit within you release fresh grace upon you to enable you take down every mountain of opposition before you and take hold of your breakthrough in Jesus name. All hope is not lost. God is on your side. His power to overcome is on your side. If God be for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31). Thus, I pray for you that “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you … Amen” (2 Corinth. 13:14).
